Cardboard Citizens tour a new Forum Theatre play by playwright Femi Keeling to hostels, prisons, day centres, refugees, and youth centres across London. Rising will tour around ten hostels and three prisons in London. It will also be performed at the With One Voice Summit in Manchester at the Royal Exchange Theatre, and at London City Hall, for the office of the Mayor of London.
Rising is the story of Terrence, who has just been released after a short prison sentence. The audience are empowered through Forum Theatre to change the outcome, voice their opinion, and change the course of Terrence's life.
